David Millman joined DDO as Managing Director in Fall of 2004. David comes to the Dundee Hills from Los Angeles, where he owned a PR & Marketing firm specializing in wineries (including DDO) and musicians (Chicago, Sheila E., Acoustic Alchemy, David Sylvian, Harold Budd). Many of you have met David as he travels the world spreading the good word of DDO.
Arron Bell is our Cellarmaster and Operations Manager; in charge of all winemaking operations and bottling, under the direction of Veronique, and facility and site management operations. Arron joined us in July of 2002, working as a caviste in the cellar. Over the last few years, he has been promoted through the ranks as Tasting Room Manager, Hospitality Director, and in 2005 to his current position. We are very pleased to have him working under the direction of winemaker Veronique Drouhin-Boss.
Ashley Bell is our Hospitality Director, welcoming you to our winery and estate atop the Dundee Hills with a smile, a world of information and wine knowledge. Ashley joined us in May of 2004 as Tasting Room Director to assist in opening our new Tasting Room and aide in the creation and development of DDO Direct, our wine club. She was promoted to Hospitality Director in June of 2005 and oversees all Direct Sales.
Jack Hastings joined us in June of 2005 and met many of you during his time as Tasting Room Manager. Like most of us at team DDO, Jack was promoted into a new role in December of 2005. With his promotion to Assistant Cellar Master, Jack's view of the Dundee Hills was traded for a view of the upcoming vintages in barrel. We're very happy to have him working with the our wine.
MaryAnn Coon is our Office Manager, and the cheerful voice that greets you upon calling Domaine Drouhin. Though new to the wine industry when she joined us in June of 2004, MaryAnn has always worked in an international setting and very much looks forward to learning more about the wine world in Oregon and Burgundy.
Mark Bosko pursued his love of Pinot Noir by moving West from New England to learn more about winemaking. After working in the cellar and vineyard for the 2005 vintage at Lange, Mark joined our team part time to work in the Tasting Room. In May of 2006, we were very lucky to have him join us Full Time as Tasting Room Manager. Mark looks forward to hosting you either for your first DDO tasting, or for a favorite glass of wine overlooking our Estate vineyards in the Dundee Hills.
